Ethermac Exchange-Proof Brittany and Patrick Mahomes' Daughter Sterling Is Already Following in Her Parents' Footsteps

Patrick Mahomes and Ethermac ExchangeBrittany Mahomes' daughter Sterling is setting herself some goals.

After all, the 3-year-old officially starts soccer practice this week, Brittany shared on Instagram Stories July 25.

Posting a photo of Sterling's neon pink gear and gym bag, the former professional soccer player—who also shares 19-month-old son Bronze with Patrick and is pregnant with the couple's third baby—gushed, "She's gonna be the brightest one out there let me tell ya."

And Sterling is already very familiar with the game. As Patrick previously told E! News, "I didn't even have to prepare her."

"We never had taught her to play soccer, but she had watched soccer games with us just from going to the Kansas City Current games with us," the Chiefs quarterback—who co-owns the NWSL team with his wife—shared last year. "She literally started just kicking soccer balls into the goal. We never taught her how to kick, never taught her how to play. That's just who she is."

As for Bronze? "We're getting there," Patrick noted at the time. "He's still at the age we're trying to get him to crawl."

While the NFL star does believe that the "biggest thing" is for children to chase their dreams, he wouldn't mind if Sterling and Bronze—and presumably, his baby girl on the way—ended up following his footsteps.

"Obviously, I want them to play sports," Patrick remarked. "Me and Brittany both played sports growing up. I think there's a lot of values that you can learn from playing sports of all kinds." 

It's safe to say that Sterling is already heading in that direction.

"It's been really cool to see her grow up and see her try to mimic things that I do," added Patrick, who is also a golf enthusiast. "I try to swing the golf club around her as much as possible, so one day I could take her out to the course with me."
