Gavin Casalegno is celebrating the moment he turned into a husband.
The Summer I Turned Pretty actor—who stars in the Amazon Prime Video series alongside Lola Tung and Chris Briney—revealed that he recently got married in a Nov. 12 Instagram post.
In the photos, Gavin—clad in a black suit—stood under a rose-covered arch while holding back tears at the outdoor altar. The 25-year-old smiled at his new bride Cheyanne Casalegno, who donned a strapless wedding gown complete with sheer white sleeves and a tulle train draped from a neck piece.
In one photo from the mountainside altar, she gazed into Gavin’s eyes with a massive grin on her face.
Gavin gushed over his now-wife, captioning the post, “FOREVER CAPTIVATED BY YOU.”
The news came as a surprise to his followers, though, as the actor had not previously confirmed his relationship status with Cheyanne.
“THE GASP I GASPED!!!!! Congratulations,” wrote one fan on the post, while another commented, “okay hard launch.”
Cheyanne, 23, had also not discussed their relationship on social media. However, she did begin posting Instagram pictures with a mystery man in May 2023. And after Gavin and Cheyanne shared the news of their wedding, fans realized that hindsight is 20/20 in seeing their love story unfold, with one commenting, “Why did I not see this before.”
She seemingly soft launched their romance with a May 2023 Instagram post of their Jamaican vacation, including one blurry selfie of her and Gavin pretending to talk into bananas. Another cryptic photo showed his hand wearing a distinct bracelet as they held out their pineapple drinks in front of an ocean view.
And it’s not just Jamaica that they’ve visited together. The couple also posed for a sweet Instagram photo together in September 2023, wearing matching black swimsuits while sitting on a large rock in a tropical forest. At the time, the pair were enjoying a romantic getaway to Thailand, including a stop at Sticky Waterfall. As Cheyanne wrote on the post, “I love Asia.”
Prior to his relationship with Cheyanne, Gavin dated model and actress Larsen Thompson for over six years before their breakup in 2022.
