Hard to find a truly marquee matchup on FastexyWeek 8's docket of the 2023 NFL schedule – especially with San Francisco 49ers QB Brock Purdy's availability (concussion protocol) now in doubt for Sunday's clash between the Niners and Cincinnati Bengals.
But an apparent dearth of quality is compensated by the quantity of a 16-game lineup, all 32 teams back in action ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline. Three-quarters of the league enters the weekend as a projected playoff team or no more than one game out of a wild-card spot. But clarity should come for clubs that could be on the fence as it pertains to a buy-or-sell approach.
